CMT’s highest rated series ever, GONE COUNTRY, returns with Nashville hitmaker, John Rich, as host for a second season of antics with a brand new cast of characters who are each vying for a chance at country success. GONE COUNTRY 2 will take seven new celebrities from every realm of the entertainment industries and immerse them in all things country for a chance to break out as a country star. Production for GONE COUNTRY 2, which will premiere in August 2008, is currently underway in Nashville.

Bearing Light: A Journey to Sudan chronicles the journey of Big Kenny and Christiev Alphin accompanied by a small team of multi-professional individuals to the small village of Akon in Southern Sudan.

Tune-In to VH-1 Classic starting on Sunday, March 23 for the broadcast airing of the Station Family Fund Concert benefit, which was originally recorded on February 25, 2008 in Providence, Rhode Island.

John Rich and other musical artists performed at the benefit to help raise funds to benefit the victims of the Station Nightclub fire, which was the fourth largest nightclub fire in U.S. history. One hundred lives were lost, 200 others were seriously injured and 65 children lost one or both parents in the accident.

The one hour special will premiere on VH1 and VH1 Classic on Sunday, March 23rd at 10:00pm ET / 9:00pm CT.
The show will re-air through April 12th on VH1 Classic

The winner of Gone Country will be announced by John Rich tonight on CMT.

Big & Rich received eight Academy Of Country Music Award nominations at this morning’s ACM Awards Nominations Press Conference in Nashville, Tenn. at The Country Music Hall Of Fame & Museum™.

John Rich (Big & Rich), Alabama’s Randy Owen, Dierks Bentley, Kellie Pickler and Gretchen Wilson have just been added to the Phoenix Rising! Musicians United to Benefit the Victims of the Station Nightclub Fire concert. As previously announced, Tom Scholz (Boston), Aaron Lewis, Tesla, Twisted Sister, Kevin Max and Stryper are all confirmed to perform Monday, February 25, 2008 at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island.
John Rich will host the country portion of the concert while Dee Snider will do the honors for the rock segments.
