Gone Country
Here is my take on the contestants on Gone Country:
Dee and Bobby: I hope one of these guys wins the contest. They both are renegades and it would be nice for one of them to join the country scene and bring their own sense of style to country music.
Diana: She is a very talented young lady. I hope she finds a good producer!
Carnie: I would like to see her re-launch her career in country - maybe find someone else to complement her vocals and start a duo.
Maureen: I hope this experience gives Mo the confidence to move forward with a new career. She was a surprise to many, especially in light of her stage fright.
Sisqo and Julio: My hats off to them. I think they had the biggest hurdles to overcome to turn their attention to country. Good try!
FINALLY--IT'S ABOUT SINGING COUNTRY
I enjoyed tonites show. the atv's seemed like a lot of fun but i think they enjoyed the mud dip better.
I really enjoyed the session with randy owen but it was to short. did not get to hear a lot of each song.
this type of episode is so much better than the drinking, cussing, and other nitely stuff. this was more what i thought the show should be about. i look forward to next weeks show even tho the winner has already been selected.
JR was really harsh to some regarding the sound of their songs but it was necessary and i know he did it not to be mean but to be helpful for their success.

LOVE THE SHOW. AWESOME PRESENTATION! WHO WALKS INTO A BEDROOM AND FINDS A BEAUTIFUL GUITAR LYING ON THEIR BED. AMAZING. JOHNS ENTRANCE. AMAZING. YOUR CHOICE OF CONTESTANTS WAS VERY WISE. EACH ONE IS SO UNIQUE AND DIFFERENT. THEIR PERSONALITYS MAKE THE SHOW EMOTIONAL, EXCITING, AND VERY INTERESTING TO WATCH. WHEN ALL IS SAID AND DONE, I THINK EACH ONE WILL WALK AWAY WITH A NEW OUTLOOK ON COUNTRY MUSIC. I,M LOVIN EVERY EPISODE. YOUR ONE HELLAVA CLASSY DOWN TO EARTH COWBOY JOHN! who are you people who promote peeing on floors while sleepwalking,
do not edit out the seeing of bb's junk and the descriptions of it.
please tell the world that the lack of upscale script was due to the writers strike.
the funniest lines tonite were "the colors look like Disney blew up" by dee and the other by jr who said when asked what he would do if he saw bb's junk " i would run "or something like that.
tonites show is definitely not worth watching the rerun.
the line dancing was fun to watch what little there was of it. and julio should be upset. that fast jingle just does not sound like something he could sincerly sing. maybe the song writers are on strike too. oh yeh-lets sing in the bathroom.... why wasn't the shower running???
this show should really be called"Gone Country Good Ole Boy Redneck Bumpkins".

What is with you John????? Does making alot of money entitle anyone to wear the furs of innocent animals? You look lik Bigfoot parading around in those furs. Leave the furs to the animals, they look alot better on them. Maybe you should watch the Humane Society's many video's of just how your furs were made!! Animals suffer tremendously and horribly just so you can buy a coat??? Leave the fur on the aniamls!! I'm not even a country music fan. That is until I heard Big & Rich. I did like you guys, but now I'm beginning to think I can't support you if you have no compassion for animals. Give up the furs John and get back to being the good ole country boy you once were before you made the big bucks!

I have enjoyed Gone Country so far and noticed the show has a lot of country heart going on. Look forward to Friday nights and what is in store for the gang. I like Carnie Wilson because she is showing a lot of country heart.
WELL WELL WELL-ITS ABOUT TIME
Tonights show was loaded with human reactions with the fund raiser and at the childrens hospital.
The group was funny at the car wash.how much did they raise??? And they showed natural human emotion at the childrens hopsital. They really worked well with the child that they were matched with. I appreciated the editorial that JR did at the end of the show with a follow-up about the little girl that sisqo and bb went to visit. I am so happy that she recovered and is at home with her parents. I also appreciate that he acknowledged a Miracle. So many go by us without any recognition of a greater power.
Well Done Gone Country. All seven were so natural this week. And no drinking or fighting or any bad stuff.
I look forward to next week.

I too have some Southern roots. So please excuse me. Dee the 80's called and want their hair and outfit back. By the way maybe there is a personal reason why John didn't have coffee in the house. Here's some advice Dee build a bridge and GET OVER IT!
Bobby should go if, he's going to use the show to show us his
"true colors". JR, please consider these two, if you do an elimination.

bobby brown is definitely not a southern gentleman. is maureen m gay? how does gretchen w feel about the comment? dee s should get another bedroom just to be able to sleep without worrying about being pissed on. was carnie w upset about the farting in the face by bb or was she laughing about it in the bedroom????
i had such a high opinion about this show until last nite. i would rather see these celebs learning how to ride a horse, lasso, cleaning the barn was ok but not trying to catch and bridle one. horses ar e big and i donot blame julio for being afraid of them. maybe if he learned how to take care on one it would be easier for him.
they should be writing songs, watching old cowboy movies and tv shows to get ideas. where are the producers and directors of this show?? why wasn't some of those scenes edited??? i am a jersey girl which makes me a yankee but my parents were born in the great state of alabama-fayatte county where my mom lives today. my rebel relatives would
never behave so rudely. they save that behavior for the barbecues and bars. my adult cousins are so polite to each other and the older relatives it makes me cringe. i did enjoy the watermelon pit spitting contest which my family and i did when the kids were young. and no mention of the tornados that hit TN this past week in the credits? why not?
shame on you john. i give you 1 more week before i change the channel. please clean up bb or take away the booze.

gone country is a great show
i really look forward to friday nites so i can see a new episode and if i miss any there are several chances during the week to catch up.
the log cabin mansion is beautiful. at least it is not a loft or a dorm like apartment on some other reality shows. very classy.
i think john is greatly entertaining and brings a southern country home feeling to the show.

Gone Country is great but I would love to see you and Kenny and Gretchen spear head a Country Idol find some real talent. Dont get me wrong Carrie is great but some of these winners have been jokes. I think the country music fans listen to the music more than they look at the person. Or you can just do Gone Country for the average Joe like me! Keep up the good work and keep rockin!!
