John Rich hosts the Country First Concert
John Rich is hosting the Country First concert with special guest Senator John McCain. The Concert is on Friday, August 1st at the Marina Civic Center Complex at 8 Harrison Ave, Panama City, DL.
Doors open at 3:00pm, and it is important that you plan time to get through security.
This concert is free, so go out and support the Republican Party of Florida with John Rich!

To those who want the 'truth' about McBush
Hey, to all those that have whined that liberals/democrats can't "handle the truth" about McSame....I assume you are referring to the following well-known public truths about McCain...
1-he dumped his first wife after she was disfigured in a car accident so he could bang spoiled-brat-little-rich-girl-18-years-younger-than-McCain-drug-addict-drug-thief Cindy
2-McSame voted AGAINST every bill to increase benefits for the troops. IE: HE hates our troops
3-McSame is such a friggin elist and out of touch spoiled brat he can't remember how many million dollar homes he owns or what kind of car his chaufauer drives his pampered ass around in
4-he is senile
5-he has a staff of servants that could populate a small country
6-he was pro-choice for a long time (he lies about this now)
7-he speaks about as articulately as does President Bush S-4-Brains
8-He likes tax breaks for billionaires cause that helps him
9-he has contempt for regular people (like people who are fans of Big and Rich)
10-he has a long record of horrible judgement when it comes to the Iraq War, the economy, taxes, civil rights, etc etc etc
11-McBush wants to have a NEW TAX on YOUR EMPLOYER SUPPLIED HEALTH BENEFITS!-Don't take my word for it-google it!

God Bless you boys... John and Ken. I love the fact that we still have some conservative values among our Counry Singers. I like to refer to them as the "Good Ole Boys". I would be extremely disappointed if John was supporting Obama. Thank God we still have some rational thinking in America.

I never had a problem with the Dixie Chicks airing their opinions about our current president -- what a fantastic country we live in that gives us the freedom to do so!!
Now other country artists like Toby Keith and John Rich (whom I both LOVE artistically) are sharing their views about politics. And like the Dixie Chicks, I completely support their right to do so (I wish Mr. Keith would have done the same for the Chicks).
I do have to wonder though, have they done any research on John McCain? Have they learned that upon his return as a POW, he was a womanizer who cheated on his first wife, Carol, with his current wife, Cindy? Have they learned that not a single word is mentioned in any of his autobiographies about the courageous Vietnam man, Mai Van On, who saved him from drowning as well as from an angry mob when he parachuted out of his shot-down plane? Mr. McCain would not be here today if it weren't for this man!!
The list goes on...
While I honor the fact that Senator John McCain went through hell as a POW for 5 years, it is my opinion that this "straight-talking maverick" is not straight talking at all. I'm just surprised when people who extremely lack in character seem to still rise to the top. And now McCain has the great songwriter, John Rich, penning an anthem for him. Like I said earlier, I support Mr. Rich's right to express any opinion he likes, I just don't understand why he throws his support towards a man who clearly hasn't earned it.
Just my two cents -- too bad I can't influence as many people with my opinion as you country stars can with yours.
p.s. A note to the Dixie Chicks: I am MORE than embarrassed by our current president; I feel extremely let down by him.

Hello....You really think Obama is a better choice? You all need to go back to history 101. Save your negative comments for a more liberal website; they will appreciate it more. McCain has definitely earned the respect of many over the years. Obama has no experience, matter of fact how many people even knew who he was prior to running for president. (not many) His track record...doesn't have one!

Obviously by supporting McCain Big and Rich are saying loud and clear they don't give a crap about what the Bush right wing has done-gotten us involved in an insane war resulting in the deaths of 4200 American kids and maiming 30,000 more, sent our economy into the toilet, sent people from their homes into the streets, shredded our constitution, created 10's of thousands more terrorists, gave insane tax breaks to the ExxonMobil and the wealthy. Freedom does NOT come FREE!!
I understand your concerns about american lives lost in Iraq and some of our reasons may very well be related to oil (I'm convinced it is also) but the bottom line or "side-effect" if you want to look at it that way is that we have freed the Iraqi people.I suggest you read some books about the history of the middle-east and Sadaam Hussein's rise to power. He was a ruthless animal who killed purposely and too often to squash those who did not believe the same as he did.
America has always been a country that believed in it's own freedom and the freedom of anyone (ANYONE) around the world who also wanted that same taste of freedom. The Iraqi people did not know such freedom under Sadaam's rule.
My son is currently stationed in Fallujah, Iraq with the United States Marine Corp. He tells me how everyone over there is so friendly and happy to see the american soldiers. The garbage you see on television is just that; garbage. Our soldiers and my son are doing a superb job to see to it that people he does not know have the same freedoms that you and I have.
Don't consider our american soldier's lives as wasted.... they sacrificed willingly to free those in Iraq.
