Well, another weekend has passed. Which puts us one week closer to the week of June 9th.
I am so looking forward to this season's Nashville Star. The previous seasons seemed, to me,
to have lost something. Can't put my finger on it, just didn't have the same 'feel',I guess. With
the 'Cowboy Stevie Wonder' on this season as a judge/mentor, I am sure the show will get back
on track. With the advent of all the so called 'reality'-based programming out there, Nashville Star
has to regain an edge popularity-wise and I feel John Rich can help provide it.
As a side note, there is a local singer who I feel could be very competitive on 'NS'. If BNR choose
to check out this posting, I think I know a very good local singer you guys need to check out. His
name is Troy, he fronts a 3-piece band, he's an ex-Marine, and I can put you in touch.
As I've said before...I get absolutely nothing out of this "shameless" promotion of a (in my opinion)
great singer. I just consider Troy a good friend and would like to see him succeed in his career.
Now, back to the first topic...Nashville Star. It seemed for a while, it was difficult to find NS on the air.
One season, regular tv. Another, cable. I just wasn't sure exactly where to find the program, so I pretty much stopped viewing it. I really have no clue what happened last season. I'm sure there are
those out there in cyberspace who kept up with the show...if you did, please bring me up to date...
